Scrying~ Antique Silver Backed Mirror ~ornate art nouveau

Silver Backed:  Called silvering, which involves coating a glass surface with silver~
 
Whether you keep it for decor on your altar vanity or use it to scry, this mirror is GORGEOUS , even the contour is luscious.
 
The mirror is wonderful for general reflection but it is even more ideal for scrying or working with portals or openings to other realms.  Interestingly, I have read that the silver backed mirrors relate when we hear that the vampyres weren't able to see there reflection, but the newer mirrors (that no longer use silver) allow Vampyre to see their reflection... read below. Measures 10 1/2 in length, 5 3/4 across and weighs almost 1 lb.
 
"Vampyres & Silver Back Mirrors: Alternately, old mirrors were made with silver, a metal considered to have mystical or holy properties, and as such they would not reflect vampires. Of course, today, mirrors are backed with aluminum rather than silver, so vampires would actually be able to see their reflections."
